Easter shout

On Easter morning Christian congregations in many lands and in many languages repeat the great Easter Acclamation or shout of praise. As a way of participating in this proclamation of the central truth of the Christian Faith, why not teach and use versions of this shout in other languages. In this way groups can be reminded that the great truth of all history is for all places.

1. Christ is risen……………….He is risen indeed!

2. Christos anestee…………..Aleethos anestee! (Greek – phonetically)

3. Al Masih Quaam………….Quaam Halleluiah! (Arabic – phonetically)

4. Kristos a inviat……………Adverat a inviat (Romanian – phonetically)

5. Kristos Vos Kres…………Voistin Vos Kres (Russian – phonetically)
